GEARED UP: Team Symitry IT North rider Shaun Horsman

TEAM SYMITRY IT North are busy preparing for a renewed assault on the 2010 British 125 Championship.
The Market Harborough based team will benefit from the continued support of local businessman Steven Holbrough, who has been the main sponsor for promising rider Shaun Horsman for the past two seasons.

Horsman, who will be 19 next month, began 2009 in fine style with a third place in the opening round of the championship at Brands Hatch. But a run of bad luck due to engine problems meant he scored points in only
six of the 12 rounds and was denied a top-five finish.

The team are currently preparing their Honda 125cc machine for pre-season testing at Mallory and Oulton Park and, with the gremlins from last year placed firmly behind them, they are hoping for bigger and better
things for the new campaign.

“After the winter break, Shaun is eager to get back on the bike and get some testing under his belt,” said Holbrough. “The lad shows promise and, once we have the bike running smoothly, he is capable of running
at the front of the field and challenging for race wins.”

The 12-round championship begins at Brands Hatch on Easter Monday, April 5.
